Abstract

As a global organization that offers assistance to women in children in times of need, UNICEF is in search of cost effective technologies that would allow them to communicate when communication infrastructures are absent or unreliable.  This Information Technology Solutions Plan first introduces 3 different technologies that UNICEF could implement to meet this need.  As part of this document, you will find research, critique, and implementation strategies for each of these technologies.  One of these 3 technologies will eventually be chosen and a thorough implementation strategy proposal will be presented for UNICEF’s adoption of the new technology.
