Using Nutrition to Boost Your Cardio

Everyone needs exercise, no matter how much they try to watch there eating habits. Getting the proper nutrients can be key to successful weight loss and maintaining a healthy heart. You can't expect to eat a big steak , fried foods, drink alcohol everyday and still have a healthy heart without exercise. The body is very sophistacated when it comes to losing weight and holding on to weight. Some people don't have very good results on losing weight, so they are pretty much content with being obese. Sometimes losing weight can be very slow if you're not doing the necessary things to jump start the bodies metabolism. What you eat and when you eat it can make or break your weight loss goals. You should always use nutrition to get maximum results. Some people think you should eat before exercise and some say you should eat after exercise. Some say the body metabolize fat into energy after a meal and others believe you get better results before eating because you should use the stored fat for energy. Each individual person should find out what works better for them.Your body goes into survival mode when it dosen't recieve food so it holds on to whatever it has for survival. Everyone should eat at least 5 or 6 small meals a day to keep your metabolism well balanced. Cardio tends to burn more fat when you have finished after the first hour of exercise. So you want to choose food without carbohydrates such as egg whites, chicken breast or protein shakes to eat. Protein consumption will not affect the glycogen stores so the body would still be burning fat. If you want the full benefits of exercise you might as well burn calories, increase metabolism, and increase cardio for a strong heart.
