For some it's a starting point for others it's the last stop on the B1 and B49, yet for others it's Manhattan Beach. Surrounded by acres and acres of beautiful land and the Atlantic Ocean stands the Kingsborough Community College. A place where dreams begin; a place where we get a chance to define who we are. Kingsborough Community College means hope for a better life, hope that we can one day achieve our goals. It symbolizes a community standing together at the edge of brooklyn. Students from all over New York come to KBCC (Kingsborough Community College) to path their way into a life full of achievements. When we get here we are given booklets and brochures to get a better understanding of KBCC and everything it holds within. You can find everything in there from the list of curriculums, to the courses, to all the departments but there are some questions that not even the brochures can answer.

If you ever had a class in the T buildings I'm sure you wondered what the T stands for? Why are the T buildings apart from the rest? Why do the look likeTrailors? Well, I went and asked a few KBCC friends and professors. There are known to be a few myths about the Why's and What's of the T buildings. The most common one is that the T stands for temporary. The T buildings were meant to be temporary buildings, before when there was a Marine or Navy base here, and then I suppose they (people who were in charge) forgot all about it and left the T buildings alone.
