Violence againt Women Stop it Now!
Not only is violence against women prevalent here is the United States but in other countries too. Around the world women are being abused beaten, dragged, raped, and killed. This issues is happening in ones own community. Women are waking up to beautiful mornings, performing their everyday task to getting abducted and laying down to the ugly darkness. Now a days women are targets everywhere as if women are toys, this is not a game that one plays. Women can longer leave there homes and go to work, and feel safe any more. There are thoughts that run through the minds of the women in Mexico. The killing and abducting is increasing day by day. The men are committing this crimes like it is apart of the grocery list. Hope that there is faith out there to get this, before it becomes the norm.
NOW is an organization that supports women against violence. And their whole thing is to end violence against women now. In The article it talks about how over the last decade there has been over four hundred women abducted and most times killed in Ciudad Juarez and Chihuahua, Mexico. More then half of the murders have a common theme, most of the women are raped, brutally beaten, killed. Along with that their bodies would be left in the desert or on a secluded street. They are usually young, and the crimes take place either when they are coming or going to work, at an assembly factory. Now the complaint is that there is little that has been done to solve these crimes. Investigation has been done, and three men have been arrested. A man by the name of Edgar Alvarez Cruz was arrested for participation in one of the Juarez crimes. With the help of the United States they were able to help find him. He may be involved in more of the Juarez crimes. Jose Francisco is the guy who confessed that Cruz was involved .He resides in prison until this day as a consequence. He revels that he did partake in the Juarez crime, has far has the rapping and killing women. The third guy, Alejandro Delgado Valles reveals that he took part in the rapping of the women in Juarez, Mexico. Valles also states that he did not partake in the killing. Valles is now working with the investigators as a protected witness to bring all of this to a conclusion.
The NOW members along with activist have protested and marched from El PASO, Texas, to Juarez, Mexico this shows how serious they are. They want to put and end to all of this, they
