WHAT I DID THIS EASTER
I started my Easter break on a bad note. Our school had an actual fire on Thursday. That ended the school day early. This changed the four day weekend into a five day weekend when school was called off Tuesday. For the first two days I didn't do much except play video games
On Sunday, I attended church at First Providence Baptist Church. The day started at 9:00 AM. This is the time that Sunday School for teens began. We talked about the Resurrection. At 11:00 AM the mass service started. The teen choir sang. We gave speeches that voiced our thoughts about Easter. My speech stated that we should not think about the Bunny but give thought to the person for whom the day is created.
After all the speeches were finished, we went to East Coast Buffet. There I saw Curry Gaut. We left around 2:30 PM. We had an Easter Egg Hunt. I won a solid chocolate bunny rabbit.
On Tuesday, that unexpected extra day, I spent that time helping my Grandmother care for my ninety-five year old great aunt. This was my version of community service. It gave my Grandmother time to relax. She hated that I gave my last free day to her. She said I could have done something fun. She didn't know that I had fun giving her a break from working as the caregiver for Aunt Henrietta every single day.
This is what I did this break.
