Where did the Ancient India civilization most likely begin? You don't know anything first, it depends where is the best place to live. Now, people live all over the world because it has airplane, bus, boat and cars to transport stuff to other places. But approximately a long time ago there were no cars, bus, airplane and boat etc.... The most likely place that they started the Indian civilization is on the left side of India, close to the edge of where the peninsula ends.
I think it started around the peninsula ends, first important reason was why the Ancient Indian civilization has begun below the Vindhya Range, is because of the Vindhy mountains. The mountains was good for the protection because to the other country it took a lot of energy. The mountains also provides many material or minerals in the mountains. The mountains also could use for the weapons and trade. For the example it is hard to attack the other country. It would be easy if you attack a country that has mountains or will you attack a country that doesn't have mountains? I think I will attack a country that doesn't have mountains. It doesn't waste much food and energy.
The second reason that the Indian civilization started around peninsula ends the sea. The closest sea to the land was the Indian sea. Having sea in your country it develops a lot. A sea could have growth of population and great increase of the farm work. The sea also can help you to travel some place else. It also had a exploration and lots of trades. The sea could help for the transportation from one place to another. From trading you also could learn many other countries culture.Example the Roman Empire has dominated meditterean sea. From the domination Roman Empire had a lot of growth and it maybe had the quickest to get the news. Also from the sea it also can start to many jobs to do with the sea such as fisherman, explore and military etc...
The last reason that the Indian civilization started around peninsula ends was the river. The city would had a newly started city. From the sea you can move to another place well and you could provide a easy transportation, which had a lot of trade and development during the trade. From the sea the city could grow well and people could be richer. the trade also helped as from making more
