Women in Iran
Being a woman and write about it, is a very interesting subject, especially when you are from a country that women have to fight for their everyday life, for their rights, like how to wear, how to think, what to eat, what to drink and in every single thing in their life they have to be told what to do. Sometimes it is the father or the brother or a husband who are in charge to make sure she is on the right track, and most of the time it's the society of people and the government and our religion who force them to act as what they want her to be, instead of what she really needs to be.
Last Sunday, it was one of the biggest event in the world "Oscar" and the Oscar for the best foreign movie, had been given to Asghar Majidi from Iran for his movie by the name of The Separation. The movie is about a couple who wants to get divorce and the troubles that they have
To go through, emotionally and mentally and ......
When I think about the long way, the Director and actors and actresses come to achieve such a wonderful success, I get emotional, because no one can imagine how hard it is to be where they are now. To be more specific, imagine you are an actress or an actor, how you are going to Show your husband or your wife or your father or your mother even your child your feelings? of course by telling them or kissing, holding, just normal things that people do, to show their emotions, in my country, they cannot have any physical contact with the opposite sex, except a Father or a Husband and in the films no one is no one's father or husband, for example
when an actor act as a father he cannot kiss or huge his daughter, as a wife in the movie, you can never cry on your behalf bodies shoulders, you cannot kiss your love one's good bye, you cannot show your natural emotions, what so ever, so how hard it is to act in this shameful situation and still, these talented people, made their way to worldwide Oscar event and they won the prize. Specifically the actress's, women who are second hand human beings in Iran and the most of the Arab countries, where ever Islam is roiling the law, women are nothing but, a subject with an object !!!!!!!! I am very sorry to admit that but, I think it is a painful truth that we have to live with it for now.
