Most of the hatred from WWII came from the influence of Hitler. At the end of the depression Germany was in trouble. There were no jobs and the people needed a strong leader. Hitler seemed to be the right choice as leader. He was strong and promised to raise the economy. He made a strong army and brain wasted the military into believing he was right.
Anything is possible in the world today, but it would be very hard for a leader to getaway with what Hitler did for as long as he did. Our media is too big for that to go unexposed. Once other nations was what was happing they would get involved, like the war the US is in now.
The girl in the red coat is a symbol of shinnler's heart growing every time He Sea's her. At the beginning of the war he was out to make money and did not care what was happing as long as he made money. The end of the movie he was crying because he could have saved two more lives if he sold his car.
The obvious comparison of a group the has much hatred is the KKK. The have no good reason for there actions. The people they victimize have done nothing to deserve the treatment they got from them. It is sad to sea thing like that still go on.
The movie is a gig eye opener.
