I dropped out of high school the last semester of my senior year. I was having a lot of problems at home and in my social life. I fell into the whole smoking pot stage, drinking all the time with my friends and ditching school. I was running with the wrong crowd and it was leading me into a dead end. I just sat around doing nothing but wasting my life away for four years. I had a few jobs in that time but not the kind of job I see my full potential being used. My girlfriend Corina helped me get on the right track again. She helped me study for the GED test and find testing sites. I was in a self contained class my junior and senior year of high school to help with my learning experience. My best friend through out those four years, who is now my girlfriend, helped me get my life back on track. She talked to me whenever I needed help, and went above and beyond to make sure I was always ok. Corina helped me get off drugs and focus back on school. I decided I would go back and get my GED. Corina helped me study and find the test sites and dates. I couldn't have done all that with out her and I will be forever thankful to her. I passed my GED test and I was very proud of myself for the first time in such a long time. It felt good to look to my side and see my one true friend being there and helping me the whole way. It was a very proud moment for me when I received my GED in the mail. I don't feel like the nothing I used to feel. I felt a lot better
