Introduction:
Given many facts and opinions in regards to tattoos and body piercing people are free to express themselves in my ways. Although, many people are not educated and aware of the consequences that tattoos and body piercings could hurt them later on in life. My essay should hopefully bring about change and give you more knowledge; about tattoos and body piercing to those who thinking about making this life changing choice.
Tattoos in Ancient Times
Where did tattoos originate from? This would be my question, after researching this question I've learned that there are many questions that have already been answered for me. "There is first evidence of tattooing dating back of a prehistoric man uncovered in the ice of the Italian Alps in 1991. This historic statement has stated that a man died approximately thirty-three hundred years before the birth of Christ". More details of this statement are posted by (Rudzinski, 2001, p. 1) Tattoos are found to have started from Egypt to Polynesia. There are mythologies and customs that surround the tattoos customs and some of these customs I believe still exist today.
