Current Solutions to Weight Problems, Pregnancy Nutrition, & General Health .

One of the strongest motivating factors behind our product remains both the undeniable presence of the health conscience in the United States and the ineptitude of the current programs to satisfy and truly aid those who are trying to reduce their weight, or remain mindful of nutrition for the sake of a baby, or even those who wish to have a firm grasp on the health factors of their body and its daily content.

We are focusing the strength of our product on the health conscientious, those with weight problems, and pregnant women. The health conscientious comprise a healthy portion of America's society today. With many health food stores open or opening, many more people are looking toward healthier lifestyles which include everything from exercise, the right amount of vitamins & nutrients for the body, and/or a healthy diet. In addition to the health conscientious who have already attained healthy levels for their bodies, there also exists a large segment of the American population that must deal with weight problems. This can be a person who must lose or gain weight to achieve a healthy lifestyle. With many more American's being classified as clinically obese each year, ranging from children as young as five and well into adulthood, as many as 300,000 will die annually from the unhealthy weight gain, poor diet, and lack of exercise1. In junction with both the health conscientious and weight wary, pregnant women must also remain attentive to varying levels of nutrition in the body. Thus, it follows to suggest that the healthier the lifestyle the mother exhibits during the pregnancy, the healthier the new born baby.

The health conscientious already have certain options they use to ensure their healthy bodies - some of these include, health/nutrition stores such as GNC, gyms, and/or regimented diet plans. All of these are great ways to keep the body healthy, but only extend so far. GNC offers many lines of vitamins, minerals, herbs and nutritional supplements at the highest quality with a true purpose in increasing the quality of their customers' lives2. As many are aware, in addition to the spread of health food stores such as GNC, America is seeing the introduction of many new gyms and workout facilities all which carry an increasing capacity to please their health conscientious customer base. Many of these 'health nuts' also stick to regimented diet plans.

Those in our population who wish to or must watch their weight also have many options, many more options in fact than the health conscientious described above. Each year more and more dieting and weight loss programs are inducted into our society creating a total of over 200 such programs available to the public through free internet programs to paid programs such as Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, and eDiets.com3. These diet plans range from simple theories of daily cabbage soup to cutting carbohydrates completely out of the system. There are also some more drastic solutions for the seriously overweight such as gastric bypass surgery, an invasive surgery that sews the stomach into a smaller size to allow only for smaller portions of food.

And lastly, those women who are responsible for the children of tomorrow must keep an avid eye upon their diet to ensure the health of their unborn. There are not as many options in this segment.
