State major events - Major events are those revolving around, leading up to, and resulting from the conflict or major problems in the work.

1. Spartans' (super soldiers, highly advanced warriors, specially bioengineered and technologically augmented, the best in the universe - quiet, professional, and deadly) completion of training camp on the planet REACH (human's last station of defense to stop the covenant from finding the location of earth) - After the completion of the training camp the Spartans were used for their main purpose, to protect and save human civilization on earth, by acting as the humans' secret weapon against the enemy.

2. Battle at Sigma Octanus IV (coordinates for an area in space) - This battle marked the first major victory, in a space battle, for the humans over the Covenant (alien race intent on wiping out human kind)

3. The final fall of Reach - The overrun of the planet by the covenant forces. Reach holds the location of earth in its historical library of mankind, and the covenant will stop at nothing to retrieve this information.

4. Master Chief's (Spartan 117) final mission - The master chief boards the covenant spacecraft that holds the location of earth and fights through hoards of covenant infantry to locate and destroy the information that contains earth's location.

Major Characters

Spartans

John, Spartan 117, or Master Chief: He is a great leader, he is always on task, and he dedicates his life to his missions.

John has always succeeded in every mission no matter what the cost. He has only lost a fellow Spartan in battle under his command when it is the last resort to further increase his team's chance of success, but every time a fellow Spartan has been lost it was because the Spartan volunteered to risk or give his life for the mission at hand. This shows that his teammates have the same view on a mission as he does.

Kelly: Kelly is the fastest Spartan there is. She is just as dedicated to her work as John is. Each and every other Spartan also is as dedicated to their work as their leader John is. Although she is a female she considers herself equal to any other male Spartan.

Kelly tries as hard as she can to try to take part in each and every mission and she also tries to volunteer to lead a squad of Spartans in any mission. When fighting a stronger enemy than herself, which happens almost always because she is a female, she relies on her speed and wit to take down any foe.

Sam: Sam is physically the strongest Spartan. He is very headstrong. He tends to rush into any situation without thinking out and fully understanding the risks at hand. He relies on his brute strength for every situation and that ends up being his downfall.

His first major mistake was when he deliberately defied an order from John in order to prevent him from being hurt. He ended up saving John but in the process he loses an arm. His second and last mistake was not thinking out all the options in how to succeed in destroying a covenant battle ship. He rushed into it and, without the consent of John, he takes a nuclear warhead, straps it to his waist, and launches himself into an opening in the covenant ship and detonates while still inside.
