In the Holocaust, discrimination was a big thing. It was not the only big thing, there was also prejudice and violence, and people today are casting aside what the affects of the Holocaust had on the people during that time and the people of today. Many people do not see that what is going on with the Mexicans today is basically the same thing like the Holocaust, except for the killing. Many people can learn from the Holocaust, and how it can affect the lives of the present and future people. And many people today think that discrimination, violence, and prejudice should be decreased in this world, and that no one should go through anything like the fierce tragedy of the holocaust, because it can really change a persons life. And the change of that person's life can change someone else's like Anne Franks life.

Remembering what happened in the Holocaust is very important because the next generation needs to know that what happened in the past could easily happen again. For example during the holocaust the German soldiers focused on the Jews, they made their life impossible to be normal. And now with everything that is going on with the Mexicans. With the way that everyone wants to push them away and make it hard for them to have a life with their children and family. How do we know that with the way that this has already started that in a few months or years it will not grow to be like the Holocaust? It won't be as bad, soldiers are not going to go around shooting Mexicans, but how do we know that we will not discriminate against them so much that we make the mistake of shunning them out of the United States forever. Although people don't think that this is a very big problem, the holocaust did not start out as a very big problem. It started out slow with a little prejudice and violence, and then began to grow with people's hatred for something that they believed was not right. In the end all the people that died, died because on person decided that he didn't like the Jewish people and he wanted them to be punished. Now do you think that having the history of the Holocaust is important/ People do look at the past for events like these and try to look at it in a different perspective, in which they start changing on how they act and feel.

Discrimination is a very hurtful thing that can lead up to an event that should not take place in this world. For example, during the time of slavery the white people discriminated against the African Americans. All this happened because the color of their skin was different. How does that make the white people better? What gave them the right to take charge and make the African Americans the slaves? They would not like it if it was the other way around. Discrimination in this would to stop or at least decrease, but to do that we should start doing something.
