The Holtz video is a motivational tool that can be used to help improve one's self image and esteem. This video offer several avenues to success. One should take into consideration Mr. Holtz's positive uplifting message. His message is for all people. I never thought about the fact that people have the power to succeed or fail. My belief was always that all people have a fate or destiny. In which that is true, but it goes further than that. I also believe that God will lead one into their fate or chosen path that he has for them. I'm abandoning what I believe in, but I kind of agree with what Holtz said about one's future.
In this video Holtz said several times that one has the power to choose failure or success. He made emphasis on this little phrase. It was one of the most important things he said in the video. I totally agree and have taken this into consideration. Since I have watched this video I have a whole new perspective of my self and will power. What I just said may sound cheesy but it's true. Also, from this video, I have found that it is not such a terrible thing to lose or to fail, if one gave their best. Holtz said that people start to get weak and give up when adversities come. That's true and also applies to me; because I have given up several times on my goals when times had gotten rough. I think that is just simply human nature. Since, I now know what the problem is; I can work on standing firm and preserving though the hard times.
Holtz is an awesome speaker. He is very charismatic and sincere when he speaks. His word choice and tone shows that he loves to help or inspire people. During his message he used a lot of gestures and walked around the stage. Holtz voice was very clear and his message was very fluent.
Concluding, I plan trying some of the strategies Holtz gave in his inspiration message. The first strategy I will adopt is writing down all my goals and crossing them off as I accomplish them. I will also follow his three guidelines to success. I will do what's right, always do the best I can, and treat others as I would like to be treated. Holtz guaranteed that if one lives by these rules they will be successful. I thought about it and I came to the conclusion that it would not hurt to try this.
