Despite the fact that computers are becoming more affordable and internet more of a necessity then luxury, problems with information systems should not be expected to diminish, but possibly worsen. Connecting to wireless networks is a very dangerous game and often leads people into a false security about their information. There are many criminals out there that make their living stealing information from people off insecure networks. As computers become such a large part of our lives more and more of us are putting our information online, which makes us very susceptible to identity theft. As systems are put in place to protect people from internet scams and criminal activity, criminals will just look for more loop holes to breaking the system and new and different problems will arise. Due to the increase in the amount of people that use their computers as the only source for storing important document, pictures, and information there in increased risk of losing this information if your system breaks down. I have personally had this happen, my hard drive crashed and I lost all my first son's baby pictures and countless term papers. Environmental problems are also occurring due to the increase in the use of computers and internet. Often people like to say we can live in a "paperless" society, but most businesses actually use more paper. On top of the paper issue computers are outdated within a year or two and people and companies need to buy new systems, which despite recycling, still puts strain on the environment.
