Kirk Cameron

Kirk Cameron is a well known actor. He has stared in many movies and TV films. Kirk was born Oct. 12, 1970 in Panorama City, California. He was believed to me named after the character Captain James Kirk of the famed television series Star Trek. Kirk has three sisters: Candice (who played in the TV show Full House as DJ Tanner), Brigitte, and Melissa. His parents Robert and Barbara Cameron saw that Kirk had some talents in him and thought it best to put those talents out in the open.

Kirk started his acting career at age nine but was not a stranger to TV then. Before, he stared in a few TV commercials. After a few guest appearances on some TV shows, Kirk got his first staring role on the small screen in Two Marriages (1983-1984). With this film, Kirk received his first "Young Artist Awards" nomination. This filmed started a whole new millennium for Kirk.

He then went and auditioned for a role on the new upcoming TV series in the Growing Pains. He succeeded in receiving one of the leading roles has Michael Seaver. On this set, Kirk met his wife, Chelsea Noble, who also started on the show as his girlfriend.

The two wedded on July 20, 1991. The TV sitcom soon ended in1992 and the two could settle in and start their family. Although, Kirk still was offered to star in many films on his "time off". In 1996 Kirk and Chelsea adapted their first son Jack. Also, Isabella (1997), Anna (1998), And Luke (2000) were also adapted. His wife Chelsea gave birth to their first biological daughter Olivia Rose, on July 18, 2001. Their son, James Thomas was born on April 13, 2003.

Kirk has eased off a bit but still finds time to play in the films The Left Behind. He played the leading role in the firs two movies as well as a few other Christian themed movies.

Currently, he partners with evangelist Ray Comfort in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people in America. They have a ministry together which they call The Way of the Master; a video series where they walk the street sharing the Gospel of Christ with ordinary civilians. They do this as an instructional tape to show Christians how to effectively share their faith, "The way Jesus did."

Kirk has come a long way from when he was a child and has been able to touch many people's lives with his ability to act and by his faith. I really believe that Kirk is one of the few people that really believe in what they say and also
