You made me do that, it was you, wasn’t it. Its always you that makes me do it. Always you. I don’t like it. I hate you. I reckon I hate you real bad. I don’t ever want to play with you. I want you to go. To leave me alone. Leave me alone Michael, I hate you!
I push him. Push him to the ground and I get a like a flash of the dog, and I don’t know why I ever thought I just wanted someone to play with and stuff. I thought it would be good to have a friend. I don’t know why I did it. Do it. I don’t know. And now mum and dad are almost here but im too quick for them and I run off and all I can think about is the time with the dog and I run off.
I run off but as I run off its like im not here. Not at port athur anymore. But im in the park. Next to my house because im thinking about the time with the dog and im there again. And I see it again and I don’t want to but I cant make it go away.
“hello whats your name? Michael is your name? oh hello”
Yeah my mum and dad sent me here to the park. They do it all they time. They say something like just go to the fucking park. They say that to me. Just like that.
You know? How do you know? Oh right. Ok. Yeah well they just said to me, just then, go out to the fucking park, they say that.
What? You reckon we could be friends? Good friends? Yeah that sounds good. I reckon that would be good. But we have to do what? You think we should do what? Come with you, okay I will come with you.
Where are you taking me? Is that a dog up there? Is it?
Whos dog is that? Where did you get? You think we should what?
Why?
Mum and dad? You think it would be a good joke against mum and dad?
Yeah I guess
I walk to the dog
What with this cricket bat Michael?
And you, youll hold it though wont you. Youll hold it down for me?
Okay with my bat?
So this will mean you and me are friends and you will go everywhere with me?
Okay.
Michael?
So I lift up my bat. Lift. Lift it up with both hands, up above me head and I don’t know. I wack it. I wack the dogs head and then lift my bat again, again and then wack it again and it makes this sound and blood hits my face and my bat breaks and im under the trees so no one can see and then I cover it up with dirt and stuff. It’s a small dog so I cover it up and drop my bat and I walk home.
