Well right away I would refer to my business management book and look up at the stages of decision making because I think they fit the best into this situation which are as following step one identifying the problem and diagnosing the problem; which is that the shares of the market has been declining for the last 6 years because of the foreign competitions. Step two Generating alternative solutions though the best cutting price can be seen the only the solution that I can see but it can be harmful in the long run another alternative solution I can think is getting others to aware of the product or marketing it in a better way to attract the buyers. Step three evaluating the alternatives from the first solution from the cutting the price well it can be harmful for the company in the long run and as a result it can close the company down or maybe be bankrupted and from the other alternative well you can get the buyer by getting aware of the product though at first there will be a lost cause of the marketing for the awareness of the product but later but later it'll be a benefit and the company will start generating profit step four making the choice the choice is quite obvious it'll be product awareness I think is the best solution and it will really benefit us. Step five implementing the decision well start off by advertising in a better way then the competitors with more energy and with fully committed till the end and lastly step six Evaluating the decision in this step collect all the information on how well this decision is working towards our aims.
I would organize the group by combining two of the managing group decision making which would be leadership style and creativity style which contains in leadership avoid domination encourage input, avoid groupthink and satisfying, and remembering goals. And as for creativity style it has brainstorming avoid criticizing, exhaust ideas, and combine ideas. The reason why I want to combine both of the style is because I need people to think like leaders but also have the creativity in order to make the company running again.
As for methodologies and strategies I would rely on the organizational decision making in which a manager must consider a number of add ional concepts and processes, including
a. the constraints decision makers face
b. organizational decision processes
c. negotiations
