Robert Milton feels comfortable within week two with:
Throughout the week I developed a clearer picture toward how an organization recognizes, relates, and implements different aspects of their environment. I have been quite comfortable on how the societal environment affects organizations, by how technology, economy, sociocultural, and government regulations become key factors that must be understood and met externally. Developing a strategy formulation that an organization can focus on any problems or opportunities externally as well as breaking down any possible weaknesses and strengthens internally has developed new ways of thinking and assessing critically. The probability level within organizations can be analyzed by how often issues occur and how it affects the organization overall. A business strategy can improve an organization and move toward a competitive advantage over their competition. Measuring one's performance can determine and indicate the organizations return on investment (ROI) and earnings per share (EPS).

The challenges I faced this week was grasping the many factors within a SWOT analysis that pertains to a strategy formulation. These many factors within a SWOT analysis are put into a strategic factor analysis summary or (SFAS) Matrix, which from what I have read breaks down into categories, which represents the strengthens, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats internally and externally in an organizations environment. Unfortunately, the details within the matrix takes time and practice before I can comprehend where the right tolls should be place and how the weight, ratings, and score card is based upon.
