OUR ORGANIZATION

The Environmental Advocates Reaching Towards Humanity – UST (EARTH-UST) is the premier university-wide, student-based environmental organization of University of Santo Tomas that aims for the involvement of the Thomasian society in environmental affairs through cultivation of consciousness and knowledge, and commitment to sustainable actions. Our goal is to promote environmental awareness and inculcate knowledge on the youth of the university.

OUR PROJECT

Earth Month is a yearly celebration which commemorates the founding of our organization. With its theme, Promoting Environmental Consciousness to Thomasian Community, we aim to provide our members, partners, and all of our audience the avenues to express their ideals and thoughts about current environmental issues and as well as to establish collaboration and oneness regardless of our personal differences through our month-long series of relevant and dynamic events.

One of our events is entitled iAct: An Intercollegiate Environmental Tournament on April 27-28, 2017 from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM at UST Benavides Auditorium, although the venue of the event is still subject to change. iAct will be divided into two parts: Day One, symposium and workshop session and Day Two, the tournament session which are quiz bee and debate showcasing Thomasians’ critical thinking skills and teamwork that will be focused on current environmental issues and events of the society.

OUR OBJECTIVES

The iAct: An Intercollegiate Environmental Tournament aims to:

  1. provide an engaging, active, and participant-centered activity in tackling environmental awareness and current issues
  2. encourage Thomasians to have a deeper understanding, appreciation, and commitment towards nature
  3. empower and to strengthen the values of the Thomasians while raising their environmental consciousness, and
  4. build camaraderie, imbibed with environmental cognizance, as Thomasian community working together towards a common goal.

OUR PROPOSAL

Being part of this partnership offers great opportunities for your company in showcasing your products and services to 40,000 students of UST. It will truly be an honor for us to have you as one and your participation shall truly make a big distinction.

In line with this, we are inviting your company to be a SPONSOR of the aforementioned event. Attached herewith is the details of sponsorship packages for your review.
