Do you like the thought of telling your parents that you are pregnant or have contracted HIV? I didn’t think so, but did you know that condoms are a way of preventing those issues if you are sexually active? In a society, that promotes sex, through the use of music videos, internet, television shows, news, etc it is highly likely that teenagers are sexually active. If a parent in America believes that their teenager is still a virgin, in most cases they are mistaken. More than one million Americans are being infected with HIV alone each year, and more than twelve million other sexually transmitted diseases are being shared in the United States alone, which proves that it is highly crucial to have effective measures of preventing such diseases. Young people today want to know about condoms how to use them and where they can get them but most schools do not provide that type of information. One third of all teenage pregnancies end in abortion, about 45% of those were because of unwanted pregnancies and most of those teenagers had not used condoms. Other parents want schools
