CHAPTER 1

Introduction

In the word today, there are a lot of businesses that compete with each other. Their main objective is, of course, to gain profit. There is a lot of business who sells the same product. One example of this business is a food stall, which commonly sell the same products.

The University of San Agustin have different food stalls that can be found in the cafeteria which the students can choose if they are hungry or craving for food. Some of the food stalls that can be found here have the same products but they differ in the tastes and prices.

The students buy food according to their preference and according to their budget. There are a lot of food stalls that can be chosen by the students but among these stalls, they choose what they think can satisfy them.

Among the food stalls that can be found in the University of San Agustin Cafeteria , the researches choses only two food stalls namely the Fiesta and Floyds which the same products that the researchers can compare.

The purpose of this study is to find out the preferred food kiosks of students between the Fiesta and Floyds stall which both sells the same product, chicken. This study can determine which kiosk is more attracting to the students.

CHAPTER 2

Sampling Technique

The sampling technique that was chosen by the researches in determining the sample of the study is Non-Probability Sampling, specifically the convenience sampling.

Non -Probability Sampling is a sampling technique where all the participants of the investigation are not derived through equal chance. On the other hand, the type of Non-Probability Sampling that the researchers was chosen is convenience sampling. Convenience Sampling is taking intact group and using this group to represent the population.

The researchers choose the College of Management and Accountancy department to be their respondents. From the whole CMA department, the researchers choose one section only that was composed of 35 students and these selected students come from BSBA 2-1.
