My ultimate goal as a University of Phoenix student is to gain as many of the necessary tools I will need in order to succeed in the business world. That one goal is collectively made up of three goals. First, gain a better understanding how people think and react to various situations. Second, learn as much as I can about business. Third, earn a PhD in Management.
I plan on learning how people think and react through working on team projects, partaking in discussion questions, and reading other studentsÐ'ÐŽÐ'¦ postings and emails. While in the military, I traveled the world and came in contact with people from all walks of life. I have interacted with people from different areas of the United States, different countries, and people with different types of personality traits. Like the military, a college campus has those types of people from diverse ethnic backgrounds, social status, and who have various personality traits.
I intend on learning as much about business as possible. I believe that textbook learning is as equally important as on the job training, because textbooks are written by a multitude of business leaders, who have vast amounts of experience in the corporate world.
As a University of Phoenix student, I intend earning my PhD in Management. This is a long range goal of mine, and I intend on making that goal a reality. Before I do that, I will receive my Bachelors Degree in Management followed by an MBA. A bachelor degree is very important to me because I must have that in order to get promoted in my line of work. Also, that bachelor degree, along with a Masters in Business Association, is a stepping stone to getting my PhD in Management. Once I receive a PhD, I believe that I will be able to call my shots I the business world. I will be able to bypass the mid level management area, and go straight into upper mid level management.
I truly believe that accomplishing the goals that I set for myself as a student at the University of Phoenix, I will make a great impact in the corporate world. In closing, I will succeed in business by reaching the goals that I set for myself as a student.
