ABSTRACT

The introduction of 5G technology will change the way that most users, with high-bandwidths, access their phones. The more the customer becomes aware of cellular phone technology, the demand for faster performance will be in high demand. The 5g design is based around the consumer mobile environment with a large array of wireless and mobile technologies in the marketplace. The fast-pace revolution in mobile technology is changing our lives in how we work, learn and communicate. The paper will shed some light on the evolution and development of various generations of mobile wireless technology along with displaying the superior advantages of the 5g technology. In recent years, mobile wireless technologies have experienced 4 to 5 generations of technology revolution. Current research into mobile wireless technology gravitates toward the advancement and implementation of 4G technology and 5G technology.

INTRODUCTION

The cell phones we use today seem to have it all. They boast features ranging from the smallest physical size, larger phone memory, video player, the internet and many others. The creation and entry of 5G technology into the consumer marketplace will introduce a new way international cellular plans will be offered. This globally capable cell phone will hit the market, and with the newest 5G technologies phones used in Japan will be able to access and call phones locally in Britain.

The innovations of the 5G network router and switch technology deliver Last Yard Connectivity between the Internet access provider and consumers. 5G's technology ingeniously distributes Internet access to individual nodes within the building, providing optimum connectivity at all times. Such a high value of technology has never been experienced in the open consumer market. These new 5G technologies include all types of advanced features which makes it the most powerful and in-demand means of communication in the fore-seeable future.

EVOLUTION FROM 1G-5G NETWORKS

1G, 2G, 3G, 4G, and the newly introduced 5G are the different generations of wireless telecom connectivity. Cell phones era began with 1G.

Cell phones took part in their first major upgrade when they went from 1G to 2G. This effectively changed cell phone operations from analog to digital.

Then 3G came, it was the first wireless telecom technology that provided broadband-speed internet access to mobile phones. It has been specially made for the demand of internet on smart phones. Further developments led to blazing fast internet access on phones, with speeds up to 7.2 MBPS. 3G brought in faster data-transmission speeds so that cell phones can be used in more data-demanding ways. 4G cell phone technology was able to overcome the problems of weak network strength and provided a much wider network, making sure that the users get high-speed connectivity anytime and in any location. 4G allows speeds of up to 100Mbps.

1G Generation: The first generation of mobile phones used an analog system that emerged sometime in the early 1980s. Through 1G, a voice call gets modulated to a higher frequency of about 150MHz and up while it is transmitted between radio towers. 1G has a low capacity, poor voice links, and no security whatsoever since voice calls were played back in radio towers. These calls were very susceptible to unwanted eavesdropping by third parties.

2G Generation: The second generation first was introduced into the field in the late 1980s and concluded instillation in the 1990s. 2G was planned mainly for voice transmission with digital signal and the speeds up to 64kbps. Second Generation wireless cellular mobile technology was a step ahead of First Generation services by providing the users with the ability to facilitate of the SMS. The bandwidth of 2G is 30-200 KHz. During the second generation the mobile phone industry witnessed an exponential growth in terms of both subscribers and value-added services.

3G Generation: In the Third Generation wireless networks are used in such a way that the clarity increases and gives call quality that simulates of a real conversation. Data is sent through a technology called Packet Switching .Voice calls are interpreted through Circuit Switching, a highly sophisticated form of communication. In addition to verbal communication, the third generation includes data services, access to television/video, and other advanced features. 3G generally operates at a range of 2100MHz and has a bandwidth of 15-20MHz.

4G Generation: 4G technology boasts a downloading speed of 100Mbps. There are some additional features supported by these advanced speeds, such as many forms of multi-media and T.V programs with the clarity that matches that of an ordinary T.V.

5G Technology: 5th Generation Mobile technology has changed the means to use cell phones within very high bandwidth areas. User never experienced ever before such a high value technology. Nowadays mobile users have an extraordinary awareness when it comes to cell phone technology. The 5G technologies include all type of advanced features which makes 5G mobile technology most powerful and in huge demand in near future. Some comparisons of the different generations of technology are displayed below:

THE 5G TECHNOLOGY

The seemingly endless array of innovative technology being built into new cell phones is unprecedented. 5G technologies will be offered on hand held phones and come equipped with more power and features than 1000 lunar modules.

What 5G will offer:

5G technology is going to be a new mobile revolution in mobile
