The battle against faFast Food Essay

Many people who consume junk food are blaming the fast food restaurants for their obesity and the bad decisions they make when eating unhealthy food. Aren't we responsible for our own choices? Or is it that the fast food industry is trying to make everyone fat?

In the article, "The battle against fast food begins in the home" by Daniel Weintraub, explains how people are blaming big corporations like McDonalds and other fast food restaurants for the decisions they made by not eating healthy. Everyone should think twice before deciding to eat fast food. In the article the author disagrees with the fact that people are blaming the fast food restaurants for making them fat. I also disagree with that.

Fast food restaurants do not force the clients to buy and eat their food. People themselves decide to do it. There are comments that people make, and say that the fast food restaurants should carry warning labels on their food. Like the ones for alcohol and tabacco. I don't agree, people should know what is right or wrong, good or bad, healthy or unhealthy. It is their responsibility, to make the right choices when it comes to eating.

People have no one to blame but themselves. We all make our own decisions, just like if we were buying a new car, or bike you wouldn't blame the a car or bike manufacture for producing cars that go in excess of legal standards, right? That's my point people cannot be blaming others for something their responsible of. People should start paying more attention on what their eating. The fast food is not properly taken care of, which leads all the way back to where the food is originally produced.

Parents should be aware of this, and start taking action for their kids. The children from today are our future and by the way their eating, they might die ten years earlier than what the calculations are. Don't be lazy and pick up fast food on your way home from work. Make the right choice and eat some vegetables.st food begins in the home"
