The Da Vinci Code

Part 1

Robert Langdon is a professor who is called to France for being a suspect in the death of Jacques SauniÐ"Ёre. Sophie comes in to help read the codes that Jacques SauniÐ"Ёre leaves to who killed him. Knowing that Langdon did not kill SauniÐ"Ёre, she helps him escape the museum and flea to Leigh Teabings house that was a good friend of Robert Lagdon. That is where they figured out that whoever killed SauniÐ"Ёre was looking for the Holy Grail and that SauniÐ"Ёre was one of the protectors of the Holy Grail. The cops finally catch up to Robert and Sophie at Teabings house and they flea just before they entered the house. They take Teabings private jet to England to find the Holy Grail and whoever killed SauniÐ"Ёre. Later they find out who killed SauniÐ"Ёre and it was Teabing all along so Robert Langdon kills Teabing and finds out that Sophie is a distant relative to Mary Magdalene. This is an intense murder mystery by Dan Brown. The Da Vinci code is by far the most interesting and well-put together book that I have read. Although Dan Brown is an English author he lived in Louvre at the time to research and wrote his book The Da Vinci Code.

Part 2

This book is extremely interesting as far as his theories on religion and the Holy Grail, even though it did not say where the Holy Grail was in the book it kept you wondering. Even though it had to explain a lot to keep you following along I did not lose interest. With all the explaining and the excitement it evens itself out to make the perfect combination. There is even a little romance in the book between Langdon and Sophie between all the excitements.

Part 3

As far as the theories that he has explained in the book I can relate to. I almost feel the same way but there are a few things that I find a little far fetched but that's what he probably put in there to make the story just that much more interesting. All of the places he has mentioned in here I have wanted to go so it was a real treat to be able to visit these places in his book.
