While studying the book of Mark I discovered that there are 6 different divisions and 53 different sub-divisions in this book. The book of Mark gives a recollection of the life of Jesus Christ and His ministry from the disciple Mark's point of view.
Divisions:
1. Preparation for Ministry (1:1-13)
2. Galilean Ministry (1:14- 7:23)
3. Retirement from Public ministry (7:24-9:50)
4. Parean Ministry (10:1-52)
5. Closing Ministry at Jerusalem (11:1-15:47)
6. The Resurrection; Post resurrection Appearances (16:1-20)

1. John Baptist's office (1:1-8)
2. Jesus Baptized (1:9-11)
