Those Who Have Never Heard: They No Hope?

In reviewing this article, I established Mr. Osborn's observation of the assessment, can a person whom has never heard the gospel still obtain salvation, which opened for much controversy. He relates to the reader various, sound scripture based on the subject, however, he does not present a firm pose in his conclusion.

The author opens the article with giving a person who reads a background on the Yoruba people of Nigeria, who worships an idol named Olodumare. One begins to wonder if these groups of people, whom lack knowledge of the gospel are accountable for their unawareness, and if God will allow these souls to be lost eternally. He alludes that there is a possibility by grace through faith, in an individual's heart that senses the need to repent to God and ask for forgiveness of their sins. Using the events of Pentecost as his basis, he presents this information to us. During the events of Pentecost, there was a worldwide representation of people that heard the gospel and accepted Christ. This view sets the premises that the Word of God is in all nations. It is revealed to the audience, with ample scriptural support, that the gospel has reached all languages in every nation. The reader can comprehend the distinction in salvation for saints in the Old Testament, through their faith of what would occur through Christ on the cross. Mr. Osburn's strongest point, "the work of the Holy Spirit" states that we cannot overlook the power the Holy Spirit has in all aspects of life; therefore, God presents Himself to the unbeliever.

One can conclude, with confidence, that God has secrets that man cannot conceive and that He is in control of all our lives.

After reading this article, my thoughts were progressing very rapidly. I have numerous annotations that I would love to make, however, due to the assignment's limitations; I will make the following observations:

My first observation is that the people whom have not heard the gospel are not innocent or exempt from accountability for their salvation. The bible says in Romans 3: 22-23, but now the righteousness of God which by faith of Jesus
