Cause and Effect Essay
"Cheating"
School systems today are so relaxed in their rules and consequences; thus causing cheating, copying, and forgeries to be used frequently. Whenever they are given the chance, many students take advantage of copying someone else's work. Other times, students will get someone else to the work for them, while they turn it in as their own. This creates a lack of creativity, no sense of responsibility, and the students will never gain new knowledge.
Students that copy other student's work are only hurting themselves in the end. Every time they copy or have someone else to do their work their creativity level drops. After a while, the student's ability to think creatively becomes almost nothing. Students are no longer able to write a fictional story by themselves because the computer or someone else can do it for them.
Students also begin to loose a sense of responsibility when they cheat and have other people to do their work. They feel as long as they turn in a paper, their thoughts are not; they will receive credit and pass. They soon get the feeling that any obstacle that comes their way will be handed to them on a silver platter. And as they get older and more obsticles come their way they will soon find out not every thing will be so easy and handed to them.
Along with losing
their creativity, the students that copy will never get the felling of the sense of accomplishment that comes when you do your own work. They will never get the feeling of satisfaction when they get a good grade back on a paper that they did own their own. If they never have that feeling, they have nothing to motivate them the next time around.
These people that cheat, copy, and forge will go threw life expecting someone else to always be their to do their work. When the time comes that they have to do their own work themselves; they are not going to know what they're doing, much less where to start. They will never be able to think things up on their own. People work hard and should receive credit for the thing they do, the people that do not, should not receive credit.
