Recruiting the best employees for your company is one of the most important and pressing activities you perform as a manager. While you the Chief Human Resource Officer and you are responsible for specific hiring strategies within the company. You are not alone in this process. Human Resources (HR) professionals are available to help. By working together to attract the best available candidates, we can expedite the hiring process and ensure that the company will attract quality workers. The company will need to fully understand all of the require laws. The laws will aid us in assuring that we hire the best qualified people to grow in the company's success.
Planning for hiring requires sound strategy and careful implementation.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO AS A Chief Human Resource Officer
* Review your strategic workforce plans
Knowing your mission and related goals helps you identify your challenges.
* Identify your talent requirements
Compare your current workforce to your expected work force needs.
* Consider the labor market
Be familiar with the current labor pool, as well as external sources. Know who's out there and how best to recruit them.
The company will need to hire a total of 31 employees with a vast range of qualification. There will be a store manager with an attitude for managing the store. The candidate must have all of the relevant job experience, educations and back ground check. The manger as well as all of the employees will be required to pass a physical and drug screen. The remaining of the jobs will consist of the following positions.
* 2- Assistant Managers
* 10- Retail Clerks
* 2- Parts Clerks
* 13- Mechanics
* 3 Lead Mechanics
Each applicant will be required to be interview and placed into an order in which the company will move into the second phase. This phase will move into various testing and skill, knowledge based attitude forecasting. This process will help us get the best possible candidate for the various positions.
