When I consider leadership elements in different positions there are many things that can come into play that can both hinder and support effort. When you have a group of people who work to depend on one another each of these people will need to be able to coexist and exist separately. In order for this to be possible they will need to be able to do their own work with little supervision and sometimes not at all. This will begin to show that the team has ample enough leadership to be able to support themselves through various working conditions. Leadership is incredibly important to be able to establish this. One of the most vital elements that can support leadership is confidence in both the team and in one's own abilities. When this exists then it enables and supports the team to be able to succeed. On the other hand one of the things that can hinder or even destroy a team's effort could be a lack of confidence. This could take place in an individual person who has a lack of confidence or it could be the team having a lack of confidence in their leadership. Confidence can either support effort or it can destroy it.
