Miguel Forero
Self-Assessment
My name is Miguel Forero, I was born in Panama City, Panama and I was born April 4 1986, I am 25 years old. I value life in general because growing up in panama I got to experience a lot of poverty and violence. As an army brat I got to see the world also and different cultures in different states so I am open minded about things and respect the fact that we all have our differences. I also value my family, my mom that always been there for me, also god for watching over me through the years, and finally my son who is the reason in my life to do well and finish my education in college.
I always been athletic so I like to do sports, growing up in panama I learn how to surf, play soccer, baseball, and football. When I moved to Texas I became really good playing football as a running back so I really enjoyed it. When I finally moved to New Mexico I couldn't play football in angel fire so I learned how to play basketball and how to snowboard, I guess that was my only hobbies in New Mexico besides lifting weights, running, dancing, and parties.
My personality seems to be fun; at least that's what they tell me, but I think I am out going, fun, athletic, competitive, hard worker, and like kids and animals. I have many friends out of New Mexico, but for some reason I haven't been able to make many friends in this state; I definitely had try. Haven't had a problem making friends with girls at least; maybe because I am the type of guy in a bar who likes to dance and joke around and not act like a tough guy.
Living in different places I got to learn many skills, while in panama I learned how to be a fisherman; clean the sea food, ice it, and about the ocean. In Texas I learned how to be more athletic and competitive at everything, how to speak better English, so now I speak Spanish and English fully. Moving around I learned how to have good social skills and be fun and outgoing. In New Mexico I learn how to build houses and how to snowboard; I been working construction for many years now and I also got a certification to teach how to snowboard. My dancing skills; I guess my mom says is in my blood because no one ever thought me but I can do it, it may be a Caribbean thing, and I can also play the guitar a little bit.
